TUOLUMNE – Classic rock star John Waite will be performing at Black Oak Casino in September. Waite is the former lead singer of Bad English (“When I See You Smile”) and The Babys (“Every Time I Think of You”) and has had several international hits as a solo artist, including the #1 hit “Missing You.” Tickets are $10 and are available at The Gift Basket and can be ordered by phone at (209) 928-9300 x6508.
Other highlights include blues star Lauri Morvan, who was a 2010 Blues Foundation Award Winner and legendary lady of country Joni Morris, whose music is inspired by Patsy Cline. On September 15th, Grammy award-winning producer and songwriter Roy Rogers will perform with the Delta River Kings. Rogers is recognized as one of the premier slide guitarists performing today.
Black Oak Casino continues to present national touring acts every week, LIVE at Willow Creek Lounge! Whether you enjoy R&B Latin, Classic Rock or the Blues, Black Oak Casino offers an entertainment lineup that will satisfy any music lover.
With over 200 seats, Willow Creek Lounge is an entertainment venue complete with a full service bar, dance floor, and video bar top slots. Shows are primarily free, however selected shows may have a minimal ticket charge to provide comfortable crowd size for the venue. For all 8 pm shows, doors will open at 6:30 pm and for all 9pm shows, doors will open at 7:30 pm. Performances that require tickets will be noted on the entertainment lineup, and tickets will be available at Black Oak Casino’s gift shop The Gift Basket and can be ordered by phone at (209) 928-9300 x6508. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis, and you must be seated at the table to save your seat prior to any show. Willow Creek Lounge is a smoke-free venue, and all lounge guests must be 21 or older to attend.
