Ironstone offers Heart, Jeff Foxworthy, Fogarty

MURPHYS - Tickets are on sale for the 2012 Ironstone Vineyards Concert Series featuring some world-class performers, including John Fogerty on Aug. 3, Heart on Aug. 11, and Jeff Foxworthy on Sept. 8.

The Friday shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Saturday shows at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $45 and can be purchased at www.ironstonevineyards.com or at www.etix.com.

The concerts will take place at the Ironstone Amphitheatre located at 1894 Six Mile Road in Murphys, CA at the base of the Sierra Foothills. The amphitheatre offers amazing sound quality and is one of the most unique and beautiful settings in the world for hosting outdoor concerts. Each summer, world-renowned artists perform for the Ironstone Summer Concert Series. Additional performers will be added to the 2012 summer lineup at a later date.

Jeff Foxworthy is one of the most respected and successful comedians in the country. He is the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee and best-selling author of more than 26 books. Widely known for his redneck jokes, his act goes well beyond that to explore the humor in everyday family interactions and human nature. Foxworthy is currently on tour with Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy. The three reunited for “Them Idiots Whirled Tour,” which was filmed as a special for CMT. Jeff was also the host of the hit show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. Prior to that he executive produced and starred in both Foxworthy’s Big Night Out and the television series Blue Collar TV.
