New Year’s Eve is a time to reflect on the past year and look forward to a new one, but it is also time to do one thing: party. Whether it’s a restaurant or a church, a nightclub or a bar, Modesto offers a host of events to make ringing in 2014 a memorable experience.

For those who are through with entertaining after the Christmas season and are looking for a night out, there are a multitude of opportunities with several locations offering New Year’s Eve parties.

Galleto Ristorante in Modesto is hosting its third annual New Year’s Eve party which offers a lively scene in downtown Modesto with live action stations manned by chefs and live music.

“People should come for the great food and the atmosphere. There will be live music during the main dinner and then at 10 we’ll switch over to a DJ and a party atmosphere,” said Natalie Morrissey , Galleto’s special events director.
