Courtney Settle found the second $100 pumpkin in the Bulletin’s Great Pumpkin Hunt.
She found it next to George Perry & Son’s office and scales on the edge of downtown Manteca.
The clues were as follows:
uIt’s on the ‘way’ — A reference to the nearby scales that weigh trucks,
uMike-y likes it — Mikesell  Street intersects at South Grant Avenue on the northeast corner of the Perry property.
uYou’ve got to have hope — The HOPE Chest thrift store than benefits Hospice of San Joaquin is across South Grant Avenue.
uThere was a hill of beans — The Manteca Bean Co. and its silos once stood on the vacant lot west of Perry & Sons where a temporary fenced in construction yard is now located.
Clues for the next $100 pumpkin will appear in Saturday’s Bulletin.
