The Veterans of Foreign Wars posts in both Manteca and Ripon are offering the opportunity to usher out 2015 and celebrate the arrival of 2016 with New Year’s Eve parties.

VFW Post 6311 is ringing in the New Year at their new Manteca Veterans Center at 580 Moffat Blvd. with dinner and dancing on Thursday, Dec. 31.

Fagundes Catering is providing your choice of tri-tip or chicken with the trimmings. Dancing music will be provided by the Park Avenue Band as well as DJ Chago.

The $35 ticket also includes party favors and a midnight toast. Happy hour is from 6 to 7 p.m. dinner at 7 p.m. and dancing until 12:30 a.m.

Ripon VFW party

The Ripon VFW Post 1051 is hosting a New Year’s Eve Party & Dance at their post home, 12455 W. Ripon Road in Ripon on Thursday, Dec. 31.

The 21 and over only event includes a prime rib dinner starting at 6 p.m. with all-you-can drink cocktails.

The $50 cost per person includes designated drivers for the Ripon and Manteca area.
