Manteca Library offers help with health insurance program

The Manteca Library has a number of upcoming free programs.

The free programs are provided through the generosity of the Friends of the Manteca Library. uCOVERED CALIFORNIA HEALTH INSURANCE ASSISTANC$E: On Monday, Dec. 4, from 4 to 7:30 p.m., the Manteca Library presents Covered California Health Insurance Assistance.  Licensed insurance agents will be available to help patrons enroll in Covered California.  You will be able to shop and compare health insurance plans.  Spanish language speakers will be available. 

Interested people should bring:   W-2, paystub, or most recent tax return, proof of legal residency, and name, birthdates, and social security number for each person enrolling.

uHEALTH OCCUPATION STUDENTS OF AMERICA STUDY WORKSHOP: On Saturday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m., the Manteca Branch Library presents Teen Library Council’s Health Occupation Students of America (Future Health Professionals) Study Workshop.  Are you preparing to compete in this year’s HOSA-Future Health Professionals competition? Come to the Manteca Library for a program presented by the Teen Library Council, and study in quiet place before the competition. 

uSAN JOAQUIN RINGERS COMMUNITY BELL ENSEMBLE: On Monday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m., the Manteca Library presents Christmas Time Is Here with The San Joaquin Ringers Community Bell Ensemble.  Join us for an exciting celebration of holiday music as these bell ringers showcase their talents at the Manteca Library. 

uWINTER CRAFT TIME: On Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 3:30 p.m., the Manteca Library presents Winter Craft Time.  Families with children of all ages are invited to join us as we create a variety of winter crafts. You can make a Penguin Thermometer display, a Winter Blessings sign, or a Glitter Polar Bear. All materials will be supplied. 

uTEEN LIBRARY COUNCIL’S HOLIDAY PARTY: On Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at 2 p.m., the Manteca Branch Library presents Teen Library Council’s Holiday Party.  Teens are invited to enjoy hot chocolate, crafts, and other winter delights at TLC’s Holiday Party. Come warm up from the cold with a hot cup of cocoa and a movie.
