Ulta Beauty opens Manteca store today

Ulta Beauty — Manteca’s newest beauty supply store/salon — opens its doors today at 10 a.m. at Stadium Center anchored by Kohl’s Department Store.
The store features 20,000 beauty products across 550 brands, as well as a full-service salon. Ulta Beauty is the largest beauty retailer in the United States. It has 817 stores.
In celebration of its grand opening, the first 100 guests (each day) today, Saturday and Sunday will receive a “beauty treat” valued $5 to $100and one free skin or hair service. Ulta Beauty experts are on hand all weekend to offer free makeovers and consultations. 
Doors open at 10 a.m. for the grand opening today and Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday.

turkey meal
High school students are stepping up to make sure everyone in the community can enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.
The Manteca Interact donated $300 to help with expenses related to the Thanksgiving in Manteca meal being served Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mt. Mike’s Pizza on North Main Street at Louise Avenue through the coordinated efforts of Manteca Rotary and Sunrise Kiwanis.
The youth service club that’s affiliated with Manteca Rotary will also help serve that day.
That’s in addition to the be.tech cuisine students that will help with the advance brining of 200 turkeys needed to serve the expected 2,000 people to dine at Mt. Mike’s, pickup meals, or are having the delivered. The meal is open to anyone who doesn’t want to dine alone and wants to share their blessings with others.
Manteca Interact advisor Tevani Liotard has arranged for flyers to go home with all of the district’s 23,500 students to make sure all families are aware of the sixth annual Thanksgiving dinner.
Take-outs and pick-ups should be preordered by calling Liotard at 825.4331 or emailing wecookturkeys@comcast.net. It is the same contacts for people that would like to help cover the expenses.
