The cost for unlimited tasters is $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Designated drivers are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Ticket information is available at sanjoaquinvalleybrewfest.com.

The band Threshold will perform at the Brewfest.

The epitome of a feel-good band, Threshold consists of a tight trumpet and saxophone horn section, a lead guitar player that toured with Louise Mandrell for seven years, an incredible lead singer and arguably the best drummer/bass player rhythm section in the valley. All of the members sing, creating great vocal harmonies.

Threshold takes much their inspiration, and many of their musical selections, from the recordings of Tower of Power, Chicago, The Blues Brothers, Wilson Picket, and Sam and Dave to name just a few.

One unique aspect is the Talking Photo Booth donated by Tomorrow’s Memories to also benefit Give Every Child a Chance. You can capture your expressions on film as you and a friend interact with Manteca comedian and columnist Chris Teicheira.

Game and contests include:

uSuper Tumbling Timbers: Similar to Jenga. Hollow wooden blocks can be stacked up to 5 feet high.

uBrewfest Building Blocks: Another game similar to Jenga but created by the brewfest team. It starts at 4 feet tall and can  reach 8 feet in height.

uBeer Pong: Beer pong is a drinking game in which players throw a pingpong ball across a table with the  intent of landing the ball in a cup of beer on the other end. The game typically consists of opposing teams of two or more players per side with 6 or 10 cups set up in a triangle formation on each side.

uLife Size Beer Pong: Same as beer pong but played with 30 gallon “red solo cups” and a volleyball

uCorn Hole: Cornhole, also known as Tailgate, bean bag toss, dadhole, doghouse, Baggo, or simply Bags, is an American lawn game in which players take turns throwing bags of corn at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point.

Advance registration for the car show is $30 while same day is $35.

Event sponsors are the Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley, PG&E, Tuff Boy, LJC Consultants, Golden Valley Credit Union, Oak Valley Community Bank, Valley Custom Carts, Bank of Stockton, Boyett Petroleum, Ralph Hayes & Sons Inc., and Eagle’s Nest Harley-Davidson.
