STOCKTON — Delta College will host its 10th Annual New Student Welcome Day on Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 9 a.m. until noon
Activities begin at Atherton Auditorium for the free event.
The goal of New Student Welcome Day is to “support academic success.” Students will learn about college resources, take campus tours, purchase a Mustang Pass student ID, textbooks, parking permits, acquire library cards, and more.
Students will have the opportunity to meet with college representatives, learn about Delta’s numerous educational opportunities, programs, services, and obtain helpful information regarding Financial
Aid, Scholarships and Veterans Services. Students may also tour the Goleman Library and learn about fall Library Skills Workshops. Don’t know your way around campus? Tours will be held throughout the morning.
The check in-starts at 8 a.m. That is followed by a welcome and information session at 9 a.m. in the Atherton Auditorium. Campus tours will be conducted every 30 minutes from 10 until noon departing from the President’s Patio.
