11 Ripon students earn perfect scores on state exams
42 top Ripon Uniifed students honored

The Ripon Unified School District recognized 42 students recently for their efforts in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress.

This is the state exam that replaced the Standardized Testing and Reporting or STAR, which became all but obsolete on July 1, 2013.

RUSD Superintendent Ziggy Robeson proudly announced those who came away with perfect scores in English Language Arts and Math.

Eleven had perfect scores in both subject matters – Broke Brogan, Ashley Dillman, Savannah Hoekman, Jansen Krygsheld, Dew Patel, Asia Rose, Anthony Sausedo, Sophia Taylor, David Wang and April Yan were honored at the Dec. 10 school board meeting.

Those earning perfect scores in English were Joshua Brawley, Gavin Garner, Harleen Kuar, Lucy Krull, Teagan Malvey, Katelynn Prater, Avery Redula, Dillan Saltsman, Natalie Schwertfeger, Evelyn Tison, Katherine Van Gorkom, Beth Warren and Ava White.

Ryan Bell, Zoe Brenner, David Casas, Garret Castro, Dylan DeGraff, Logan Dejong, Triptaan Dhami, Sada Gill, Ryan Lefebvre, Gabriel Ortmann, Kayla Pankey, Spencer Redula, Emma Smith, Annamarie Wood, Kennedy Wyrsch, Beauross Yan, and Nolan Young received perfect scores in Math.
