Trustees of the Manteca Unified School District could fill several key positions at Tuesday’s meeting.
These closed session items include a senior director of business services, principal at Lindbergh Educational Center, and one or more principal positions at the elementary school sites.
The void was created when several administrators recently took advantage of the Public Agency Retirement Services better known as PARS.
Open session begins at 7 p.m. in the administration building located at 2901 East Louise Ave.
Among the agenda items:
•Superintendent Jason Messer is scheduled to announce that Lathrop School Principal David Silveira will be receiving a $10,000 check from PG&E for the Bright Ideas grant application.
•Messer’s report will also include the teachers-of-the-year awards.
•The board will consider, discuss, and take action on the proposed budget for the 2009-10 school year.
•Trustees could consider adopting a resolution, authorizing teachers to teach outside of their major or minor for the upcoming school year.
•The board will consider approving a Modified Reading Program specifically for kindergarten- through sixth-grade students.
