Seven Ripon residents are opening their gardens this Saturday for the annual Ripon Garden Club’s September Stroll

The tour gives you an idea of the plants and colors that can survive and thrive in the valley heat and still impress as summer starts to wind down.

The club has made sure that there is a diverse cross-section of gardens that are big on creativity.

Beside the opportunity to get some clever gardening ideas, you will have a chance to win prizes.  The Stroll begins at 10 a.m. and concludes at 2 p.m.

Tickets are available in Ripon at Schemper’s Ace Hardware, Silverado Nursery, and Parks Greenhouse. They are also available at New Bud’s Nursery in Manteca on South Manteca Road (an extension of South Main Street into the county.)

Tickets are $20 per adult.  A map and description of each garden are included on your ticket
