LATHROP – The Lathrop Relay for Life kick-off event will be held tonight starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Holiday Inn Hotel, 15688 S. Harlan Road in Lathrop. Light refreshments will be served.
The public is encouraged to attend.
This year’s actual Relay for Life in Lathrop will be held Aug. 28-29 starting at 9 a.m. at Lathrop High School on West Lathrop Road. For further details, visit www.RelayForLife.org/LathropCA.
At the kick-off event, visitors will:
•Get a sneak peek of the Relay experience.
•Learn about becoming involved as a team captain in this 24-hour team event to fight cancer.
• Join the Relay Committee
• Pick up Relay For Life materials (team captain kits, brochures and posters)
• Learn about American Cancer Society programs and services.
