best art work
Sierra High’s Sidney Pham, who earned Best of the Best honors with her two-sided clay, glaze, and under glaze teddy bear, is with her teacher Kira Eadington at the Manteca Unified Art & Exhibit Sale.

Anthony Dahl, who is the Visual & Performing Arts Coordinator at the Manteca Unified School District, spent Friday taking down the “Best of the Best” Student Art Exhibit.

Some of the 1,300 pieces by students at Manteca High, East Union High, Sierra High, Weston Ranch High, Lathrop High, and Calla High went up for sale as part of a silent auction.

Other pieces such as the two-sided clay, glaze, and under glaze Teddy Bear by Sierra High’s Sidney Pham are enroute to the Best of San Joaquin County High School Art Show.

That piece and others advanced to the May 8 event at the San Joaquin County Office of Education Wentworth Educational Center, 2707 Transworld Dr., Stockton, by receiving MUSD “Best of the Best” recognition.

The MUSD event held this past week featured the finest efforts by students in Ceramics, AP 2D / 3D Art, Digital Photography, Intro to Art, Color & Design, Film, Video Production, and Advanced Art.
