Judging by the demand over the last three years, the hottest tickets to get this month are to the Manteca Youth Advisory Commission’s father-daughter dance.

This year’s theme is “Under the Sea.” There are two dates to choose from at the Manteca Senior Center, 295 Cherry Lane. They are Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each evening.

The event is designed for fathers, uncles and grandfathers and their daughters, nieces and granddaughters. The evening offers dinner, music, dancing, and fun.

Tickets thru Feb. 14 are $25 per couple and $5 for each additional girl. After Feb. 14 the tickets jump to $35 per couple and $8 for each additional girl.

Tickets must be paid for with either cash or check. Tickets are sold in advance at the recreation office at 252 Magnolia St. or at the senior center. The event may sell out so there is no guarantee that tickets will be sold at the door. Due to limited capacity no spectators are allowed.
