Ripon may be getting another gas station and convenience store on the Jack Tone Road corridor west of Highway 99.
The proposed project by Galloway & Co. is one of two developments on the agenda for public hearings at the Feb. 18 Ripon Planning Commission meeting. The other is a 47-home subdivision envisioned along North River Road.

The commercial project is planned for the corner of Canal Boulevard and Jack Tone Road near the Tractor Supply Co. store. It will consist of a 5,000-square-foot convenience store, a 971-square-foot car wash and a 100-square-foot canopy over eight fueling stations.

The residential project dubbed Perreira is being proposed on 17.9 acres along North Ripon Avenue by Stockton Avenue. Four of the 47 homes are required to be affordable under Ripon city standards.
