Ripon Unified enrollment keeps growing, now at 3,351

Ripon Unified continues to post strong attendance numbers for the 2019-20 school year.

The recent tally – in this case, the fourth month, from Nov. 4 through Nov. 29 – showed the district with 3.351 students, using the counts during that span from Ripon High along with the five elementary schools coupled with Independent Study and the alternative education site, Harvest High.

That’s 116 more students from a year ago at this time, according to the District Enrollment report from the school board meeting on Monday.

Ripon High led the way with 986 students or plus-42 (944) when compared to 2018-19 fourth month figures.

Ripona Elementary School was tops among the kindergarten- through-eighth-grade school sites with 476 students, followed by Colony Oak (469), Weston (462), and Ripon El. (460).

Harvest High’s attendance consisted of 27 students while Independent Study had 13 students.

RUSD opened the school year with an attendance of 3,354 students.
