Taste of Ripon sells all 600 tickets ahead of holiday event
RIPON CHAMBER

A Taste of Ripon is sold out.

That’s bad news for those looking to partake in this 24th annual event scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5.

“This is the earliest we’ve ever sold out,” said Ripon Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kelly Donohue on Monday.

Twenty-seven businesses will once again enjoy extended business hours for Taste of Ripon, offering a variety of wines, foods and appetizers not to mention holiday shopping.

According to Donohue, all 600 tickets were sold, with each receiving a commemorative wine glass from McManis Family Vineyards along with a map of the local businesses involved.

“It’s always a fun time,” Donohue said. “People enjoy strolling from business to business during the evening, meeting the owners or running into old friends along the way.”

This Chamber-sponsored event, in addition, will feature piped-in Christmas music to set the atmosphere.

For those fortunate to score a ticket, check-in will start at 5:30 p.m. at the Ripon Memorial Library, 333 W. Main St. or the Silverado Building, 460s. Stockton Ave.

They’ll have the option of taking the limo shuttle service to get around.
