More crab feeds on the way

The Festa do Espirito Santo Manteca (FESM) kicked off the crab feed season in Manteca Saturday night.
Upcoming crab feeds include:

Boys & Girls Club crab feed Jan. 17
The 28th annual Manteca/Lathrop Boys & Girls Club crab feed is Saturday, Jan. 17, at the MRPS Hall, 133 Grant St., starting with no-host cocktails from 6 to 7 p.m. followed immediately by dinner. Dancing will be from 9 p.m. until midnight. Tickets are $40 each.
This year, they are also serving marinated crab along with the usual plain crab fare, pasta prepared by DeVega Brothers, salad, bread and wine.
There is also a drawing and an auction.

Nile Garden crab feed is Jan. 24
Nile Garden School’s Community Club is holding their 39th Annual Crab Feed at the MRPS Hall, 133 Grant St., on Saturday, Jan. 24, from 6 p.m. to midnight.   
The price is $35 for the dinner/dancing tickets.  You’ll enjoy a baked potato, salad, wine, bread, and of course, all you can eat crab.  For tickets call Stacie 823-4025. 

Escalon Kiwanis crab feed Jan. 24
The Escalon Kiwanis fifth annual crab fed is Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Escalon Community Center, 1055 Escalon-Bellota Ave.
Proceeds support Escalon High scholarships, Key Club, Builder’s Club, and the youth of the Escalon community.
Tickets are $40 each.
The no-host bar opens at 6 p.m. Dinner is at 7 p.m.

Crab feed Jan. 31 helps BMX project
 Anderson’s 209 BMX is conducted a marinated crab feed on Saturday, Jan. 31, to raise funds for the construction of the Spreckels Park BMX course.
The all-you-can-eat marinated crab feed features dining, dancing, entertainment, and socializing for $40 in advance. Tickets at the door are $45.
There is a no host bar.
The crab feed is from 5 p.m. to midnight at the MRPS Hall, 133 N. Grant St. The menu includes crab, pasta, salad, French bread and dessert. An auction and raffle will follow dinner.
Dancing is from 9 p.m. to midnight to music provided by the classic rock band Nothin’ Personal.
