Give Every Child a Chance is staging  the Xtreme Bulls & Broncs Rodeo on the River fundraiser on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8 from noon to 5 p.m. both days at Dell’Osso Family Farm in Lathrop just off Interstate 5.

The two-day, professional rodeo (CCPRA sanctioned) family entertainment features some of the toughest, award winning, livestock and rodeo athletes around.

The Xtreme Bulls & Broncs Rodeo includes opening ceremonies, bull riding, bronc riding, and saddle bronc riding, a calf scramble, vendor/concession booths, and much more.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children (ages 5-12) and seniors (ages 55+) at the gate. To purchase tickets visit the website www.gecac.net/rodeo or stop by the  office 322 Sun West Place, Manteca 209.823.6222.

Katelyn Zaborsky will be crowning the new Miss Rodeo on the River at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, June 7, just before the grand entry.

The Calf Scramble is available to children ages 5-12. Children will compete in two age divisions (5-8 and 9-12). Children will chase calves around the arena attempting to untie the ribbon from its tail. Immediately following the calf scramble there will be a cowboy meet & greet/autograph session.

Proceeds from the event help underwrite free tutoring services for struggling kids in Manteca, Ripon, Lathrop, French Camp, Weston Ranch, Escalon, and Banta.
