MURIETTA  (AP) — Murietta police have found a shoulder-fired rocket launcher in a storage unit as part of an investigation that led to the arrests of two women and a man.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise reports 35-year-old Ekaterina Lanas was arrested for investigation of possession of a destructive device and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Two others also were arrested for drug-related offenses.

Police stumbled upon the rocket launcher Thursday at a storage facility and also found a three-foot military projectile. Investigators determined the rocket launcher wasn't loaded and the projectile was an inert training round.

It was unclear where Lanas may have obtained the rocket launcher but the case will be forwarded to military investigators to see if it was stolen.

Possession of a rocket launcher is a felony.
