Christene Michelle Busser of Modesto, CA passed away at the age of 47 on April 7, 2017 in Oakdale, CA.
   She was born February 19, 1970 in Marlow, OK to Bob and Sharon Busser.
  Christene is survived by her parents Bob and Sharon Busser, siblings Rebecca Reed and spouse Joe, Crystine Peterson and spouse Tom, fiancé Bill Drewry, daughter Jacque Robbins, cousins Jeannie Haskell, Cheryl Arrington, Beth Estante Patrick Norton, Cherry McEntire, Ashley McKinley, Dixie Busser, Heidi Busser, Rory Busser, Quincy Busser, Timothy Kirby, Rhonda Silva, nieces and nephews Brittany Rushin, Nathan Reed, Joanni Luna, Amy Mayberry, Toni Garcia, and friends TJ Rodriquez, Cindy Reese and numerous others.
  She was preceded in death by her grandparents Maynard and Jewell Goodman and Perchal and Lois Norton, aunt Kay Byard and uncle Ray Allen Norton.
  Christene had a strong belief in God and teachings from the Bible. She was not concerned with worldly possessions as much as she was concerned about helping others.
  Christene attended Golden West Elementary and East Union High School in Manteca. She graduated from Tracy High School in 1988.
  She enjoyed traveling, camping, shooting, fishing and garage sales.  She was employed by the State of California at Deuel Vocational Institution in Tracy and the Sierra Conservation Center in Jamestown, CA.
  Services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the United Lutheran Church, 649 Northgate Dr., Manteca, CA 95336. A reception will follow at the church.
  In lieu of flowers, you may donate to your favorite charity in Christene’s name or send donations to Sharon Busser to be used for Christene’s daughters college fund.
