Clara V. Tinnin, 94, entered into rest on May 27, 2016. She was born in Lathrop, on September 8, 1921. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Roy Tinnin who she was married to for over 76 years and her brother Milton McMurry.
   Mrs. Tinnin is survived by her son Ray Tinnin and daughter Margaret Williams. She was blessed by three grandchildren; Louella, Dana and Nancy as well as several great-grandchildren.
Clara was born and raised in Lathrop where she was employed by the government at the United States Post Office in Lathrop as a clerk. She graduated from Manteca High School where she enjoyed band playing the clarinet. She was a member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West. She had a talent for sewing, making beautiful lace doilies and lace patterns. She loved music, tinkering on the computer, spending time with her late husband, visiting with her children and loving on her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her loving and caring spirit. She will be deeply missed.
   P.L .Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Tinnin family. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA.
