Edna M. Martin, age 86, passed away on Friday, May  1, 2009 surrounded by family members at her Residence in Manteca.  She was born on October  9, 1922, in Oklahoma.  

She was a homemaker.  Edna was a loving wife and mother.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, making quilts, gardening, camping and fishing.  

She will be deaply and dearly missed by all who knew her.  She is survived by her husband-William Martin (WWII), Son-Jimmie Gunn, both of Manteca; Son-Johnny Gunn, Daughter-Alice Maldonado, both of Livermore; Daughter-Annette Adkins, Daughter-Mary McKenzie, both of Manteca; Daughter-Peggy Thompson of Utah; Daughter-Margie Brenger of WA; Sister-Gladys Alviso of Livermore.  She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by three of her children, Carl Gunn, Katherine Ambrose, and Barbara Arraho.

Services will be held at Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Rd.Manteca, CA 95336 on Wednesday, May  6, 2009 at  2:00 PM.  A Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 AM to  2:00 PM.  Interment will be at Park View Cemetery immediately following the services.
