Jan was a house mother for over 20 years at the University of California – Davis. She enjoyed going to car shows with her husband Don where they were both members of the Sierra Angels Classic Car Club. She found serenity in her amazing artistic abilities. She often drew portraits of family members which hung in the hall ways of her home. She loved cooking for family and enjoyed family get-togethers where she often tried-out her new recipes. She also found peace in tending to her flowers and yard. She was very good at sewing; her children and grandchildren always knew were to go when they needed a wonderful seamstress. To remember Jan is to remember her by her warm and giving attitude towards others and the love she had for everyone she knew. She will be deeply missed.
