Elvera Patricia Nelson passed away at Doctor’s Hospital in Manteca, CA on December 23, 2018 at the age of 80.  Elvera was born on May 24, 1938 in San Francisco, CA.  She spent all of her childhood in the city of Hayward, CA.

   Elvera married Loren Nelson in 1960 and had three children that were born to this union.  She moved to Manteca in 1978 after her husband’s retirement from the U.S. Navy.  In 1979 she began to working for Delta Bank and remained there for 23 years. As a result of numerous medical issues she retired and continued living in Manteca until her death.

   Elvera is survived by her ex-husband, son Steven Nelson, daughters, Sandra Westfall, Sharon Persson, and eight grandchildren and eight great-great grand- children.  Elvera survived the passing of her father, mother, and two brothers.

   A private service will be conducted with family and close friends.
