Frank Ruggirello, 78, entered into rest surrounded by his loving family on March 17, 2009 in Manteca. He was born on August 15, 1930 to Mr. and Mrs. Antonino and Catherine Ruggirello in Detroit, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Sam Ruggirello.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Margie Ruggirello. His children are Tony Ruggirello and Kris of Manteca and Cathy McAllster of Stockton. Additionally he is survived by one sister Paula Magro of Oregon and 2 wonderful grandchildren, Jennifer Mocanu and husband Jason of Stockton and Brian McAlister and wife Lorena of Stockton, and one great-grandchild Spencer McAlister.

Frank owned and operated Frank’s Arco in Manteca for over 20 years. Some of his interests were fishing and working in his garden. He was very well known around the neighborhood for his fresh home-grown tomatoes, lettuce, and fava beans. Frank was a true family man; he devoted special quality time to his wife, children and grandchildren. To remember Frank is to remember him as a reserved man who meant the world to his family.

Mr. Ruggirello’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 1 to 5 p.m.at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. A rosary will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 19399 E. Highway 120, Ripon, on Monday March 23, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. Following the Rosary a Mass will be held at 10 a.m.  at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, 17871 S. Carrolton Rd. Escalon.
