Gaylen Diane “Birda” Gore, loving mother, sister, and aunt moved to her eternal home on Sunday, January 30, 2011.

Gaylen “Birda” was born on April 28, 1953 in California, and was a resident of Manteca for the past 30 years. She was always quick with laughter to make the worst days better, but also was known as “Weeping Willow” because she would cry just as easily at something that touched her heart.

She is survived by her daughter Debra Hayes, husband, Patrick, her sisters, Barbara Coffman and husband Bob, Sue Hewitt-Lick, and Willetta Maria, her brother, Garland Graham; grandchildren Baily and Garrett Simons, Crystal and Cache Hayes, and her great-grandson, Jordan Hayes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Our lives will never be the same. She is and always will be loved by so many and missed by all.

Funeral services for Gaylen will be held on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road in Manteca. Interment will be at a later date at Park View Cemetery. Cash donations would be greatly appreciated. Please contact the Park View office at 209-982-1611 for additional information.

Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road in Manteca.
