Ino Patron passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side in Manteca, CA on Saturday, March 11, he was 78. Ino was born in French Camp, CA and lived in Niles, CA for 50 years before moving to Manteca in 2015.
   He graduated from Jefferson High School in Daly City in 1958 where he was inducted into the schools Hall of Fame as an All Star 2nd baseman. He attended College at San Mateo where he also excelled in baseball. Ino loved all sports and was an avid fan of all Bay Area teams, but his heart and soul was for the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. Ino’s passion was sports and would travel anywhere to watch not only his kids and grandkids play but kids that he coached throughout the years. He coached FBI & CYO in the 70’s, FGSA in the 70’s and 80’s and Niles Centerville Little League and CYO in the 90’s through 2006. Ino also served as Athletic Director for Corpus Christi Church for many years. Ino helped start Fremont Cable TV in the late 60’s where we worked for over 25 years, he retired from RFI Communications in the late 90’s.
   Ino is survived by his wife Helena (aka Lupe) of 56 years. His daughters Elisa Ruiz (Mark Sr) and Sonia both of Manteca, his sons Ino Miguel (Diana) and Rico (Gabriella) both of Livermore. His grandkids Mark Ruiz Jr (Nicole), Andrew Ruiz, Daniel Ruiz of Manteca, Ino David Patron and Christa Patron of Livermore, Robert Higares of Newark and one great daughter Alexa Rae Ruiz.
  Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 1-5 p.m. with a 3 p.m. vigil at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538.  An 11 a.m. mass of resurrection will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 37968 3rd St., Fremont, CA 94536. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, in Livermore.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to Niles Centerville Little League, P.O. Box 2604, Fremont, CA 94536 in honor of Ino Patron.
