John F. Gates of Ripon who died unexpectedly, on August 10th, 2026 is survived by his wife, Marilyn of 58 years, his children; Ed and Shelly, grandchildren, Sophia and Noah and sisters; Nancy Toombs, and Marie Damron

   John an excellent mechanic, worked in Manteca for 51 years.

   John enjoyed outdoor activities with his family and helping others.  He will be greatly missed.
