Joseph Allen Hoffman, 64 years old, entered into rest on January 25, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Tracy, California on November 26, 1954 to Joseph A. “Bud” and Margaret Hoffman.

Joe leaves behind his high school sweetheart, his wife Joanie, that he was happily married to for 46 ½ years and his son Jeremy Adam Hoffman. He will also be missed by his three siblings Diana Risso, Connie Hoffman, Sally Hopson and his precious grandchildren Alisya and Madison Hoffman and the apple of his eye his great-granddaughter Octavia Hoffman. Joe joins his parents and his son Jason Hoffman in heaven.

Joe was born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley and was a longtime resident of Manteca. He was a member of 4H when he was younger and attended Manteca High School where he was a member of the FFA club, the band and the Football team. Joe was a Wild Game Farmer for 28 years. Joe loved the outdoors and often spent his time enjoying camping, canoeing and recently had gotten into kayaking. The beach was always a special place for his family where they enjoyed many bike rides at Half Moon Bay. Joe cherished spending time in his garden soaking in the sunshine or just tinkering around listening to The Blues, Rock and Roll or just about anything. Joe loved music.

Joe Hoffman was a true family man. A loving and devoted husband to his wife who was truly his best friend and soul mate. Family time was very important to Joe. Spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite activity and he could not get enough with his great-granddaughter Octavia. He was an avid sports fan and always rooted for the San Francisco Giants and 49ers.
