Juanita “Jenny” Baca, 67, entered into eternal rest after her valiant battle with cancer on December 16, 2010 surrounded by her loving family in Manteca. She was born on June 1, 1943 in Visalia. She is preceded in death by her parents Ascenion and Luciana Serrano and many brothers and sisters.

She leaves behind her best friend and husband of over 25 years Jim Baca of Manteca. She is a mother to 3 sons; Ronald Pearson of Sacramento, Gary Pearson of Sacramento and Vicente F. Baca of Manteca. She was blessed to have 6 grandchildren; Marissa, Savannah, Jonathan, Sebastian, Jeffery and Emma. Jenny has 2 surviving brothers and 4 sisters.

Juanita lovingly known as “Jenny” was a resident of Manteca for 23 years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Jenny lived a simple life and was fulfilled with life’s simple pleasures. Jenny enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren at their many family gatherings; where the voice of Vicente Fernandez in the background was never left unnoticed. She was a determined lady with no frills of fluff; never a job she could not handle. She would spend her evening doing what she loved most watching her Spanish Novelas (never missing a breath taking episode). Her boys were the apple of her eye and the love that Jenny shared with her husband Jim was truly unconditional.  She will be remembered as a devout wife, loving and caring mother and very special grandmother.
