A 1973 graduate of East Union High School and a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma Marilynne Kay “Katie”Hilburn Stone, 55, passed away in Illinois February 8, 2010 with her husband Ken at her side.
She was preceded in death by her father Homer Hilburn.
“She was our butterfly,” her mother said, “calling the Napa Valley her home, but adventure led her to the Midwest.”
She is survived by her mother Bettejean, sister Elizabeth Richey (Steve), niece Sarah Perry (Ben), great niece Rylee Jean Perry, and sister Pat Pappenfus (Tom).
Private services were held with her ashes being placed at a later date.
Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home, Murphysboro, Ill, was in charge of the arrangements.
