Raymond “Jim” Utah Sallee

Raymond “Jim” Utah Sallee, 95, entered into rest on October 26, 2018 in Modesto, California. He was born in Oklahoma on January 31, 1923 to the late John and Mattie Sallee. 

Raymond leaves behind his children, Fabian Sallee (Patty) of Manteca, Cathy Scarola (Daniel) of Manteca, Linda Hirtz of Lincoln and Theresa Halliday of Sonora. 

Raymond was a resident of Manteca but previously called Escalon and San Jose  home. After moving his family to San Jose he was employed by Ford Motor Company as a specialty painter until retirement. He served his country proudly through the United States Army. 

Raymond was an avid clock collector. He enjoyed Bingo Nights and was lovingly known as Bingo Jim. In his early years, he enjoyed the outdoors and spending time fishing. He loved his family dearly and took great pleasure in the simple things in life. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed.
