Reay Pete Peart
January 1, 1955-November 26, 2016
Reay Pete Peart K

Pete passed away suddenly on November 26, 2016 in San Andreas, CA. He was born January 1, 1955 in Oakland, CA to Thomas and Violet Peart to be their fourth child in a total of five children.
Pete is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sue; his sisters Sylvia Trewin, Leslie Burns, his brother Tom Peart; his daughter, Kristy (Jason Hjelmstad); his son Kenny (Dana); his eight grand- children Scotty, Hannah, Kali, Taylor, JT, Caleb, Christian and Arianna; as well as many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Violet Peart; brother George “Butch” Peart and brother-in-law Charles “Chuck” Burns.
Pete worked for O’Reilly Auto Parts (CSK Auto, Inc) for over 30 years and had recently retired. He had managed stores from the
East Bay, San Joaquin County, to Amador and Calaveras Counties on both the retail and commercial side. Always with a smile, a joke or a smart comment for all he came across. Pete  never met a stranger and befriended all he met. There wasn’t a place you could go where he didn’t know someone and the trip took double the amount of time. Pete was an avid hunter and loved to go camping. Pete loved being with family, spending time with the grandkids, outdoor activities and home improvement with Sue by his side. He raised his family in Manteca and coached sports a majority of those years. He was still coaching today….just maybe not from the dugout. He and Sue could always be found supporting the grandkids in the stands or with his beloved dog Maggie. Above all he loved his San Francisco Giants. He will always be a part of the game now with the best seat in the house.
