Robert W. Webb, 68 of Canon City, died March 23, 2012 at his home.

He was born November 23, 1943, in Moline, Ill, to Kenneth and Betty Webb.

Mr, Webb served in the U.S. Army. He was stationed at Fort Carson and finished his tour in Augsburg, Germany.

While at Fort Carson he met Catherine Leewaye of Salida,CO who became his wife of 49 years.

Mr. Webb was retired from Stockton Unified School District in Stockton, CA. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and working with wood. Mr. Webb was preceded in death by a son, Gary Lee, father, stepmother, Naomi Webb, and twin brother Edward.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine, of Canon City, son Barry Webb of Canon City, mother Betty, Warner of East Moline, Ill, granddaughter Meranda (Shelby) Appleby of Canon City, great-grandsons Matthew and Shelby Appleby of Canon City, siblings Lynda (Arnold)Norman of Davenport,Iowa, Kay Ann Peel of Fredonia, PA and Debbie (Tony) Castel of Genesco, Ill, and numerous nieces and nephews.

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Webb family. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. April 9, 2012, at East Union Cemetery, 1035 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA.
