Sean Michael Castner, 42, entered into rest on April 1, 2009 in Manteca. He was born on April 3, 1966 in San Diego. He was a resident of Manteca for 12 years.
Sean is survived by his loving wife of 12 years Becky Castner of Manteca, his parents, Cynthia and Robert Castner of Anderson, California, his children Ethan Castner of Manteca, Haleigh Castner of Manteca, Frank Costa of Manteca, Brandy Costa of Manteca and Jessica Costa of Stockton. He was blessed by one grandchild Nathan Beigler. Sean is also survived by one sister Kelly Watt of Walnut Creek and his niece and nephew Kayla Watt and Colton Watt, both of Walnut Creek.
Sean worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. Since 2000 Sean owned and operated SMC Construction as a General Contractor. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving his country from 1984-1987.
Sean’s passion in life was coaching. He was commonly found on the field coaching girls softball or soccer. He was a coach for MYSA and MASL and a huge fan of his children’s sporting events, supporting them in everything they did. In turn Sean’s children were always his biggest fans. He enjoyed riding his Harley and just hanging out with friends. Family was always number one in Sean’s life. He was a devoted husband, father, son and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
