Vivian Irene Hulsey, 82, peacefully passed into the arms of our Lord on April 26, 2009. She was surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Irene was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, John R. Hulsey, her parents, Clarence and Ida Vaughn, and 6 siblings, Nellie, Lillian, Troy, Roy, Fay and Clarence.

Home for Irene was Manteca for the last 63 years and happy times for here were times spent with her family. She and Johnny were camp hosts at Soquel Camp in the Sequoia National Forrest and each summer they would gather for a huge family camp outing. More recently Irene loved playing Skipbo, reading, and spending time with friends while doing volunteer work and she loved going to breakfast at the Waffle Shop. Biscuits and gravy, 1 egg and crispy hash browns. She was a fun loving woman and a wonderful mother and grandma.

She will be very missed by her son John A. Hulsey and wife Judy, Troy Hulsey and wife Ann, and daughter Valerie Robertson and husband Dale. Her grandchildren and their spouses, Jackie, Johnnie (Todd), Jamie (Matt), Bret (Karen), Robert (Monica), Troy (Denise) and Merrit.
