William Henry Adams, 83, entered into rest peacefully on February 15, 2017 in Manteca. He was born in Oakland on October 23, 1933 to the late William and Frances Adams.
   He leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years Mary Joan Adams of Manteca, his children, Carol Barfuss (Terry) of San Leandro, Cathy Vanpool of Modesto, Christine Borba (David) of Shasta Lake, CA, Karen Adams of Vacaville, stepchildren, Debrah Evans (Dave) of San Jose and Karen Harbeck (Pete) of Modesto. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren, Charleen Soares (Fernando), Cheryl Barnett (Kevin), Joey Vanpool (Liah), Shelly Tweedy (Jason), Shauna Butler (Brandon), William Borba, Dustin Evans, Deanna Hanley (Aryn), Matt Harbeck (Carli), Kim Walsh (Curtis) Stephanie Wolfey (Ryan), Christina Barfuss and Tarvis Barfuss (Brittany). In addition he leaves 29 great-
grandchildren.
   William “Bill” was a Manteca resident. He was a veteran serving his country proudly through the United States Army.  He retired from Ameron Concrete and Steel Pipe Group as a Superintendent. He enjoyed helping others and training new employees. He had a passion for old cars, as he would rescue them and bring them back to life. He was  talented and would make the most beautiful stained glass. He loved his family dearly and always looked forward to spending time with all of his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
