The Lancer Youth Wrestling Club had eight top-four placers in the San Joaquin Wrestling Association Freestyle Championships Saturday at Livingston High.
The team returned home with four champions and a second-place team finish in the novice division.
Trinidad Diaz captured first-place honors in the 70-pound intermediate division, Jaysen Reindel won the 130-pound novice, Tyler Diaz is the champ at 55-pound bantam and Cade Smith was No. 1 in 105-pound novice.
Branden Rullan (70-pound novice) and Ethan Rullan (55-pound intermediate) were runner-up finishers, Jason Betlej ended up in third (84-pound schoolboy) and Eli Willis took fourth (128-pound schoolboy.
The squad is now preparing for the season finale USA Kid Freestyle State Championships, which takes place June 3-5 at Selland Arena in Fresno.

Red Sox 2, Angels 1
Jacob Sousa ended an eight-inning thriller with a walk-off, bases-loaded hit to clinch the Major Division victory for the Red Sox. He also notched the win as a pitcher, striking out five in two relief innings.
It was well-played pitcher’s duel throughout. Daniel Marquez lasted six innings for the Sox, fanning seven batters. Zackary Hayford struck out eight while throwing all eight innings for the Angels.
Estevon Salazar’s RBI knock gave the Red Sox the first lead in the fourth inning, and a throwing error allowed the Angels to tie it in the fifth.
Also getting hits for the Red Sox were Harrison Heath, Devyn Gonzales, Dawson Royster and Elias Andrews.
Manteca resident James Griffin aced the 143-yard 14th hole of Micke Grove Golf Links in Lodi. He used a 7-iron.
