Manteca’s girls tennis team improved to 3-0 in the Valley Oak League with its 9-0 shutout of Kimball on Tuesday. The match took place at West High in Tracy.
It was a quick visit for the Buffaloes, who coasted to sweeps in all six singles matches, and the doubles matches were decided in eight-game pro sets.
Katie Kim and Chloe Marquis, Manteca’s top two players, both won 6-0, 6-0, as did No. 5 Jenna Poncini. Emma Ngo (6-1, 6-0), Shreya Raman (6-2, 6-0) and Christina Nguyen (6-2, 6-0) round out singles victories.
No. 1 doubles partners Eva Pasion and Yazmin Guerra won, 8-1. Dixsha Singh and Parm Toor took No. 2 doubles, 8-2. Guadalupe Mercado and Michailla Springs combined for an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.

Hannah Stewart accounted for half of the host Spartans’ 10 goals. Kalani Soriano netted four, and Elizabeth Rodriguez had one.
