Zimmerman hits walk-off single, Inland Empire beats Stockton
Ports

SAN BERNARDINO, (AP) — Jordan Zimmerman hit a walk-off single, as the Inland Empire 66ers topped the Stockton Ports 7-6 on Friday.

Jo Adell scored the game-winning run after he hit a two-run double.

The single by Zimmerman capped an improbable comeback for the 66ers, who scored four runs in the inning for the win. Adell hit a two-run double earlier in the inning to help set the stage for the game-winning score.

The Ports took a 6-3 lead in the top of the ninth when Jonah Heim hit a two-run triple.

Zack Kelly (1-0) got the win in relief while Angel Duno (3-1) took the loss in the California League game.

Heim tripled and singled, driving in four runs for the Ports.
