Cliff Rogers, internet sales manager at Cabral Chrysler Jeep Dodge Suzuki at 1145 W. Yosemite Ave., Manteca, offered a brief description of the 2011 Chrysler 300c.

“It handles like a sports car, but rides smoothly and comfortably like a sedan,” he said of the showroom model featured in a stylish tri-coat ivory pearl exterior.

Rogers also pointed out that this top flight luxury car offers plenty in state-of-the-art features.

For starters, the body was redesigned. With it came a new grille, sculpted hood, LED daytime running lamps, and tail lamps.

The showroom model came equipped with a 5.7-liter V-6 engine with fuel savor technology and a five-speed automatic transmission.

Fuel economy estimated at 16 miles per gallon, city, and 25 mpg, highway.

Among the safety features for this sedan are antilock four-wheel disc brakes, advanced multi-stage air bags, full-length side-curtain air bags, seat-mounted side air bags, and driver’s side knee and reactive head restraints, to name a few.

As for luxury features, Rogers pointed to the adaptive cruise control. “It will automatically adjust the speed based on the car in front of you,” he said.

The headlamps featured Smart Beams, which was designed to automatically dim when sensing an oncoming vehicle from within 2,000 feet, and the adaptive forward lighting that pivots the headlamp beams along with the vehicle during night driving.

Another available safety feature on the Chrysler 300c is the forward collision warning that detects when the driver is rapidly approaching another vehicle.  “It’s a warning system that’s also brake assisted,” Rogers said.

Inside, the 300c come with heated and ventilated leather, an 8 ½-inch display screen with UConnect Touch, a navigation system, and Travel Link to provide updates on real-time fuel prices, movie listings, and scores of sporting events.

The sedan comes available with keyless entry and ignition.

Chrysler also offers a panoramic moon roof on this sedan. “Passengers seated in the back can also enjoy the view from above,” Rogers said.
