How versatile is the 2013 Rogue?

Glenn Veasley, who is a sales representative at Tracy Nissan, 3195 N. Naglee Rd, said Tuesday that this crossover “rides like car but feels like you’re in an SUV.”

He credits that to the All-Wheel Drive Rogue’s 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. “It’s the same motor found in the Nissan Altima,” Veasley said.

The AWD model is capable of getting 27 miles per gallon city and 22 mpg highway. “The two-wheel drive (Rogue) has a combined 30 mpg rating,” said Veasley.

Other features on a Rogue include the 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with the four-wheel vented disc brakes, front side-impact and curtain airbags, front seat active head restraints, an energy-absorbing steering column, anti-lock brakes and traction control system.

The AWD had six-way power driver seat with power lumbar support, cruise control, steering wheel audio controls, six-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system with a 4.3-inch color display and USB connectivity, satellite radio.

In addition, the Rogue can come with keyless entry and ignition, 12-volt DC outlets, and Bluetooth hands-free system.
