Graffiti at the Creek car show is on Saturday

The Spring Creek Golf and Country Club usually gets nostalgic come this time of the year.

Muscle cars and other vehicles from 1972 and older will converge in Ripon for the annual Graffiti at the Creek car show on Saturday.

The annual event is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m.

Cost to enter a vehicle is $30 (early entry) and $35 during the day of the event. Each participant will receive two meals and two drink tickets as part of the entry fee.

Cars are limited to the first 150 and will be judged per category, with trophies being handed out at 5:30.

“This is a complimentary for everyone to attend, with beverages and food available, keeping in mind all proceeds go to our junior golf program,” said Bernie Brown, Spring Creek’s food & beverage manager.

The event will also consist of a drawing for prizes, music, a sock hop, and barbecue & bar on the range.

Dinner and dancing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m.

Spring Creek is located at 1580 Spring Creek Dr.

This private, members-only championship golf club celebrating its 50th anniversary was designed on 101 acres of ancient oaks along the Stanislaus River.

Along with junior events, Spring Creek host golf tournaments, dining, and creative-themed and other special events.
