Manteca PD seeks help in identifying bank robber

The Manteca Police Department is searching for the public’s help in identifying a man they say robbed F&M Bank on N. Main Street on June 21.

According to the agency, the unidentified male – who was wearing a black Carhartt-style jacket, an N95-style mask, and a grey baseball cap – entered the bank and demanded cash from the teller.

After receiving the cash, the man exited the building and climbed into a black, four-door sedan – possibly a Toyota Camry or similar vehicle, with brushed aluminum 5-point wheels and tinted rear windows – and fled the area.

No other suspect information has been released at this time.

Anybody that may have been in the area of the bank on June 21 – the bank is located at 611 N. Main Street near E. Edison Street – and possibly seen the suspect or the vehicle is encouraged to contact Detective Garret Morrison of the Manteca Police Department by calling 209.456.8212 or emailing gmorrison@ci.manteca.ca.us
