Beverly Ann Pennington was born in Houston, Texas, on March 14, 1940, and peacefully passed away on May 14, 2026.
Beverly grew up in Houston, where she attended Reagan High School. It was there she met the love of her life, James Pennington. The two were married in 1958 and recently celebrated over 67 years of devoted marriage. In 1977, Beverly and James moved their family to Manteca, California, where they raised their three children. Beverly was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she would do anything for them. As a dedicated stay-at-home mother, she created a loving and steady home, and her husband and children meant everything to her. Beverly had a special gift for decorating, took pride in
her beautiful handwriting, and was known for her attention to neatness and detail. In her later years, Beverly faced Parkinson’s disease with strength and grace. Though her journey was difficult, she endured it without complaint, showing remarkable resilience.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Hazel Pederson; her brother, Don Pederson; and her granddaughter, Kristen Perez.
She is survived by her beloved husband, James; her children, Suzanne (Mike), Greg, and Shelley (Joe); her grandsons, Craig (Kaci) and Nicholas; and her five great-grandchildren, Derrick, Jaxon, Jameson, Kaya, and Mia.
A graveside service for Beverly will be held Friday, May 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park, E. Harney Lane, Lodi, CA 95240. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
