Black Oak Casino Resort offers Denny Laine concert Sept. 12

TUOLUMNE – Denny Laine, who was a member of Wings with Paul McCartney for a decade, will be performing at Black Oak Casino Resort On Thursday, Sept. 12,

Laine was an original member of The Moody Blues, singing their first hit “Go Now” and was one of the most recognizable voices on the entire British music scene during the height of the British Invasion.

Other highlights include sassy country singer Jessica Caylyn on Sept. 20 followed the next night by Grammy award-winning producer and songwriter Roy Rogers, who is recognized as one of the premier slide guitarists performing today.  The month will wrap up with the MoFo Party Band, who has toured worldwide and shared the stage with BB King, Robert Cray, Huey Lewis, and many others.

Shows are primarily free, however selected shows may have a minimal ticket charge to provide comfortable crowd size for the venue. For all 8 p.m. shows, doors will open at 6:30 pm and for all 9 p.m. shows, doors will open at 7:30 pm. Performances that require tickets will be noted on the entertainment lineup, and tickets will be available at Black Oak Casino’s gift shop The Gift Basket and can be ordered by phone at (209) 928-9300 x6508.  Seating is on a first come, first serve basis, and you must be seated at the table to save your seat prior to any show.  Willow Creek Lounge is a smoke-free venue, and all lounge guests must be 21 or older to attend.
