Riders of the Blossom Express transit service can continue enjoying the services throughout Ripon and into Modesto.
The Ripon City Council recently approved the Measure K Renewal Cooperation Agreement with the San Joaquin Council of Government on operation funding.
Measure K Renewal paid $33,587 of the $35,209 in revenue during the past year. Bus fares ($1,622) made up the difference.
Those numbers were also based on the number of riders (1,129) for the 2016-17 fiscal year.
For 2017-18, the ridership is expected to increase to 1,157 — or $1,663 in fares - with Revenue estimated at $35,688 and Measure K Renewal handling $33,587.
The Blossom Express operates twice a week in Ripon, including five hours each day.
Stops include areas near or at Bethany Homes, downtown Ripon, Kaiser Hospital in Modesto, and the Vintage Faire Mall Food Court.
