Ripon’s Senior Meal Program is set to reap the rewards of this Saturday’s “Hotcakes & Hot Cars” event planned by the Bethany Home Society at Almond Valley Christian Reformed Church.

The breakfast and show is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. continuing for three hours under the sponsorship of the Ripon Lions, Sunnyside Farms, Oakdale Community Bank and Nulaid Foods.

Don Vos will have his pride ’55 Chevy 210 Del Rey and his 1957 Chevy pickup truck on display.  Dean and Gloria Black will show off their 1972 GMC Sierra Grande.  Neil and Jeanne Rudd have entered their 1955 Ford, two door coupe.  Brent Holfman is bringing his 1968 Camero.  Steve Hofman has entered his ’56 Blue and white Chevy Bel Air and Ron Douma will be there with his 1956 Chevy Bel Air.

The breakfast and car show is part of Bethany Home’s 50th anniversary celebration.  The breakfast includes pancakes, eggs and sausage.   Entrants are asked to sign up ahead of time by contacting Debra at Bethany Home at 599-4221, Ext. 130.
